Course Intro & Information

This course will teach you how to get the most out of your Unreal Engine renders. You will learn how to get the maximum quality from all aspects of your renders – motion blur, depth of field, image quality and color information. You will also learn to include industry standard compositing tools and data inside your render, for use in the compositing stage of post-production.

Rendering your scene with the best possible settings for compositing & realism

  • Learn to utilize Unreal Engine’s render passes, including the Z-Depth (World Depth) Pass, Motion Vectors Pass, Object IDs Pass (Cryptomatte), and Stencil Layers Pass
  • Tap into Unreal Engine’s ability to utilize sub-sampling to achieve realistic motion blur and clean renders. Say goodbye to ugly Anti-Aliasing artifacts and unrealistic motion blur in your renders
  • Output your renders using industry-standard codecs, settings, and quality
